Warning: Lots of spoilers

She has left the Night Court - and her High Lord - and is playing a deadly game of deceit. In the Spring Court, Tamlin is making deals with the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees, and Feyre is determined to uncover his plans. But to do so she must weave a web of lies, and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.

As mighty armies grapple for power, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords - and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

I would like to point out this review should only be read by those who have finished this book. Minor spoilers for book 1 & 2 throughout.

The conclusion to this trilogy is near flawless. I loved every single minute of the gut-wrenching moments, the tension and excitement that SJM has written.

ACOWAR picks up a month or two after the end of ACOMAF and Feyre is playing the role of the 'healing bride' - when in actual fact she's taking the Spring Court down. The beginning chapters are one of my absolute favourite chapters in the whole trilogy; Tamlin got exactly what he deserved. And actually, Feyre wouldn't have been able to destroy the court so easily if they actually had faith and loyalty. The cracks were already there, she just manipulated them. I also LOVED the escaping battle between the Commanders. Lucien's reaction is hilarious.

There are so many good moments from them on out - the reunion between Rhys and Feyre was so heartbreaking. Then the moments in velaris and the battles of Hybern and the Cauldron. There so many. I love it all.

I love the character growth in Book 3. I wouldn't really say there's much too more growth to Feyre except that she is navigating being High Lady and adjusting to her position in the Night Court. I think her best High Lady moment was in the High Lord's Meeting where Azriel loses control and she deals with it expertly. And the she nearly kills Baron! So brutal and amazing. I would also like to point out Rhys absolutely nailed Tamlin in that meeting. One of my highlights of this book was that. I did like that we got to know more about Mor and Cassian and what happened centuries ago. It helped understand the whole triangle thing.

I cannot forgive SJM for page 666! I can't believe she did that to us!!! Luckily it sorts itself out but I was an emotional wreck for a long time after. We couldn't survive if ANY of the Inner Circle died :(

So excited for ACOSF!!
